enough is enough!!!

Ok, enough time has past since the Atlantic City Pro and I am finally making it back to the gym today. I've spent the past several days with friends mostly eating and celebrating! I usually give myself a week off from the gym after my contests. Mostly for the mental break from it all. In that time period I like to look at the pictures from the competitions and analyze my physique and where I can approve upon for next year. Analyzing the two shows from this past year, I see that my upper body could use overall size. Which is attainable, hence gearing my training the next 6 months toward that goal. I plan upping my training for Shoulders, Chest, and Back. I'm actually psyched, because I usually don't strength train and I know it will be a shock to my muscles! Stay tuned for the results.....

It's been nice to not "have" to do all that cardio. I was out on my new mountain bike today for the fun of it and I plan on riding it to the gym today. Bike riding is something I enjoy and find it is a great form of cardio exercise, plus it is outside! I'm such an outdoor nut, which I'm sure is from my upbringing on the farm. We used to ride bikes all the time as kids.

Right now I am going through all the different photo shoots I've done so I can update my members section with some recent shots. I'm not very computer savoy, therefore, this process takes me forever...The one posted here is from a shoot with GeneX on the top of the Taj Mahal after the Atlantic City Pro. Thought it was a pretty cool silhouette of myself. Enjoy!!!
Yours in Good Health,
Beth

Post Atlantic City

Wow, what a relief to be done with competing this year. I have planned to comeback to the stage for the better part of this year. I had a great experience at the Atlantic City Pro this past weekend. I feel I was in my best condition ever, even though I placed 6th in the Heavyweight class. The field was deep with quality female bodybuilders at this show and I was proud to be part of this field. I am thankful to have had some friends with me to support me and scream for me at the show. Thanks Joel, Michelle, Bill, Amber, Adana, Timothy, & Sylvia for being there for me....it really meant alot to me!
Today I assessed the pictures from the show to see my physique compared to the other top 5 competitors. Being a former Pennsylvania judge, I see how they were rewarding shape over conditioning at this show. Coming off a 4 year break, which part of that time off I did not train with weights, I see that I need to work on my upper body size to improve my overall symmetry/shape. Which is something I can definitely work on and hope to achieve in the next couple of months till I compete next year. I am psyched to improve and love to train, so stay tuned for my results of improving my upper body mass.
I have some exciting events coming up in October with video work for Awefilms.com and some for my members section. I will also be updating my members section with current photos from the contests I've competed in and a ton of sexy photo shoots I've done recently.
I also am anxious to spend some time with family and friends. Especially over the holidays with my mom's
wonderful home-cooking. This should tie hand & hand with gaining some quality mass over the holidays.
Thanks again, for all that support my bodybuilding efforts! Have a wonderful day, I'm off to get outside and enjoy the beautiful day!
